1. What we collect
Your name, email, phone number, and mobile money details used solely to identify you and process payouts. We do not store card numbers, CVVs, or mobile money PINs — these are handled directly by Paystack.
2. How we use it
To operate your wallet, process group contributions and payouts, calculate your trust score, and send you notifications about your account activity.
3. Who we share it with
Paystack, for processing deposits and payouts. Other members of a group you join can see your name, contribution status, and payout position — this is intentional, since transparency between group members is core to how susu groups work. Group leaders can additionally see your phone number, general location (city and region), and WhatsApp contact, for reaching you directly if a payout or contribution needs following up on — never your exact address or ID documents, which stay visible to platform administrators only.
In cases of suspected fraud, or where we're legally required to, we may share relevant account information — including identity verification details already on file — with law enforcement or regulatory authorities.
4. Your rights
Under Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843), you may request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account, subject to our obligation to retain financial transaction records for audit purposes.
5. Security
Passwords are hashed, sensitive admin actions require two-factor authentication, and all financial actions are logged for audit purposes.
